Why Do We Organize in This Way?
- ALL EQUATIONS ARE NOT EQUAL!!!
- The above scheme is hierarchical. Basic Laws are ALWAYS true. Basic Definitions are ALWAYS true (by definition). We use these laws and definitions to make Important Derivations which are true for the situations described. We then apply the laws, definitions and results of important derivations to particular Examples.
- Success on the exam will not be determined by remembering the “right equation”. The exams are not largely “plug & chug”. You will be expected to be able to REASON.
