World Wide Web Information:

• This couse uses the WWW for many aspects, including homework, gradebook, and storage of all lecture slides and most class handouts.
• You need to become familiar with the Web, and to have access to a fairly recent web browser (for example Netscape 3.0).

Required Text:

Halliday/Resnick/Walker, Fundamentals of Physics Tenth Edition

The Halliday textbook now has a web site with useful study aids: www.wiley.com/college/hrw

Required Supplies:

• Calculator (with trig, exponential and log capabilities). Bring to all sessions.
• Ruler (transparent) with millimeter markings.
• Loose leaf noteboook (to hold general information, lab reports, exams, etc.)
